It’s that time of year again!  The Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce presents the largest business expo in North Florida on June 1. 

The Yau Law Firm will be there to offer legal advice in:

• Business and franchising
• Trademarks, patents, and copyrights
• Personal injury and criminal defense
• Negotiations, licensing, and litigation

You will also get the chance to meet the experts who help us in:  business development, business valuations, franchise evalutions, prototype development, accident reconstruction, private investigations, and more.

There will be over 110 other local and national businesses there.  Jo-Anne Yau, attorney at Yau Law, recommends that attendees keep an eye out for:

• Wilder Business Success:  get business tips from Doug Wilder, business coach for lawyers, doctors, CPAs, CEOs, and many other executives.  Doug has coached the Yau Law professionals for years.
• Kilwin’s:  try their ice cream, and ask owner, Dana Stallings, what it has been like as a franchise owner.
• Advantage Magazine:  read their reports on entrepreneurs’ strategies for success, including our own local company, SureFooting, whose innovative invention was granted “patent pending” status.
• Jacksonville Women’s Business Center:  discover the education and resources for women business owners, and ask Ms.Yau about the Business Women of Color.  She is on the BWOC committee, and can give you all the details of the award-winning initiative.

The Expo will be at the Hyatt downtown from 4-7pm on June 6.
