Yau Law Firm to Present Lunch Discussion over new Florida Personal Injury Protection Law

Mark your calendars! On February 12th, 2013, the Yau Law Firm will host a lunch presentation about the new changes the Florida Legislature made on Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims. As you may (or may not) be aware, the new law came into effect on January 1, 2013. The new law not only affects the amount of money claimants can get in medical benefits, it also affects who claimants can treat with, and how long claimants have to seek treatment before they run out of luck with insurance claims!

If you are curious as to what this may mean for you as an insured in Florida, or if you are an attorney looking to expand your practice to include personal injury, this presentation is just right for you! We also encourage law students to participate; students can benefit from understanding how personal injury claims work in tort law!
