Yau Law
Focused on Protecting Businesses and Representing the Injured

Welcome

Welcome to the Yau Law Firm! We represent people and businesses across the country and around the world.

Our experience includes a unique combination of Personal Injury and Corporate Law. We have litigated a variety of cases, including car accident compensation, corporate disputes, and infringements on trademarks or patents. We serve our clients' transactional needs by drafting contracts, preparing or responding to Cease and Desist notices, and preparing Franchise Disclosure Documents (the FDD). In some instances, our Litigation and Transactional Departments work together. This was the case when we handled BP oil spill claims on behalf of the people and businesses in Florida, who suffered from illnesses and devastating losses in revenues.

Our Sports Law and Entertainment Law practice features an attorney who is also a licensed Sports Agent.  We have represented athletes, entertainers, and artists from coast to coast in matters including career negotiations, brand development & protection, and licensing.  The Yau Law Firm is also the Official Law Firm of:  the IRISHWATERDOGS; Tom McManus’ “SUCK IT UP!” brands; and the 2010 USA Rugby League Champions, the Jacksonville Axemen.  Visit “Our Clients” to meet more of our clients.

The Yau Law Firm is admitted to practice in state and federal (Middle District) courts of Florida. In addition, we can prosecute applications before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).
